Emily - vocalist, song-writer & sound engineer

Emily is a singer, songwriter and producer whose original projects include indie-pop band Mackenzie and solo electronic pop project FERRNS.

As a passionate advocate for women in the music industry, Emily founded Girls In The Mix in 2017 – an initiative to support and mentor young female artists and audio engineers. Since then, she has made a habit of working with and mentoring young Australian artists, and is excited to see how STAK can develop to support a similar mission.

With a Bachelor of Music (Popular Music + Creative Technologies) at University of Adelaide and Diploma of Sound Production (Audio Engineering) at SAE Institute, Emily has worked as an educator and won awards such as The Elder Conservatorium of Music Director’s Award, and The Elaine Evenly Findlay Prize for being a strong advocate for women in songwriting and production.

Adrian - producer, educator & mastering engineer

As a producer, Adrian has amassed a large and varied catalogue of releases on international record labels such as Salted Music, Large Music & Bobbin’ Head Music. Under a number of aliases including Lunabass, The Manuel Portio and Kamuku, Adrian has produced genres ranging from House and Disco to Pop to Drum & Bass.

With a passion for electronic music education, Adrian has written and curated govt. accredited courses for TAFE SA and SAE Institute with past students including Eluize, Sonny Fodera and Godlands.
